Branny-Vickory

Branny Vickory, J.D.

Branny started out in private practice before becoming an Assistant District Attorney in 1984. In 1998, he became the District Attorney for the Eighth District of North Carolina (Wayne, Lenoir and Greene Counties). Branny retired in 2014 after 16 years as District Attorney.

Branny has worked with the North Carolina Innocence Inquiry Commission, the NYU Conviction Integrity Project, the National District Attorneys Association, and the North Carolina School of Government. He is a former member and past president of the NC Conference of District Attorneys and the Juvenile Crime Prevention Councils for the Eighth District.

Frank Swindell, J.D.

Frank served the North Carolina Department of Justice as an Assistant Attorney General. Prior to joining the Attorney General’s office, he was in a general private practice, with emphasis in criminal cases. Frank is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Bar Association, and 8th Judicial Bar.

Since 2017 Frank has worked with Lex Loci to pioneer pre-arrest diversion by making such programs efficient to implement and manage for communities of all sizes.

Justin Minshew, J.D.

Justin has served as the Wayne County Clerk of Superior Court in North Carolina since 2018. Prior to his role as Clerk of Court, Justin served as Town Attorney for the Town of Pikeville and assisted the City Attorney for the City of Goldsboro.
